It was told that some members of the team have reached Dehradun and some have reached Rishikesh. The entire team will leave for Joshimath from Rishikesh on Monday.
It includes one representative each from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Central Water Commission, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Geological Survey of India and State Project Management Group (Namami Gange), National Institute of Hydrology.
Four SDMs and six Tehsildars posted in Joshimath:
The Divisional Commissioner Garhwal office has deputed 10 officers from different districts of the division to speed up the disaster and rescue operations at Joshimath in Chamoli. These include four SDMs and six Tehsildars.
Affected are being shifted to a safe place:
Relief and rescue operations are going on in Joshimath since the landslide. Now they are being accelerated. The affected people are being sent to a safe place by the administration. Along with this, ration is also being made available there.
Apart from this, a list of affected people is being prepared after surveying various places. To expedite these works, Commissioner Garhwal Sushil Kumar has deputed four SDMs and six Tehsildars.
Officers should provide reports while ensuring immediate contribution:
In these, Bir Singh Budhiyal, Additional District Magistrate Haridwar, Ajayveer Singh, Deputy District Magistrate Srinagar, Yogendra Singh, Deputy District Magistrate Kedarnath Development Authority, Nandan Singh, Deputy District Magistrate, Rishikesh, Harish Joshi, Tehsildar Pauri, Ashish Ghildiyal, Tehsildar Tehri, Mau Shadab, Tehsildar Doiwala , Balveer Lal, Naib Tehsildar, Jakholi, Tikam Singh Chauhan, Consolidation Officer, Haridwar, Surendra Singh, Naib Tehsildar, Sadar. It has been said in the order that these officers will immediately provide their reports while ensuring their contribution in Chamoli.
