
Uttarakhand Assembly will soon be included in the select assemblies of the country, which will be completely paperless. For this, work is going on under the NeVA (National e-Vidhan Application) project in the Assembly buildings located in Dehradun and Gairsain. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan said that this is an important step towards the digital transformation of Uttarakhand Assembly. With this, along with increasing the efficiency of the Assembly, we will be able to provide better services to the public. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan took information about the progress of the work in the meeting of officials related to the NeVA project in the Assembly building located in Dehradun. Later he told that work is going on in two phases under the project. In the first phase, work related to IT, computer and accompanying equipment, technical human resources, civil, electrical is going on in the Assembly building located in Dehradun.
He said that the implementation of the NeVA project is being done as per the guidelines of the Central and State Government. The concerned officials have been instructed to complete the work with high quality within the stipulated time limit. In the second phase, the Vidhansabha building located at Bhararisain in the summer capital Gairsain will also be made e-Vidhansabha. MLAs Mohammad Shahzad, Umesh Sharma Kau and Virendra Kumar Jati, Additional Secretary Ashish Shrivastava, Arunendra Chauhan, Joint Director ITDA Rama Uniyal, NIC Technical Advisor Manisha Walia, Vidhansabha’s in-charge Secretary Hem Pant, Under Secretary Sanjay Rawat, Vidhansabha Speaker’s Special Officer Ashok Shah were present in the meeting.
