Uniform Civil Code Act will soon be implemented in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. This bill passed by the Assembly has got approval from Rashtrapati Bhavan. Now the state has got this law. The committee formed to prepare rules for the various provisions included in this is busy in its work. After receiving the draft from the committee and getting it tested, this law will be implemented in the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this in a press conference held on Friday on the eve of completion of two years of his government’s tenure. He said that in this law, the rights of women as well as children and men have been protected. With its implementation, complications will be removed. Also, those who are having doubts, their doubts will be cleared once the law is implemented.

Chief Minister Dhami shared information about the achievements and decisions of the last two years in a press conference held at BJP’s State Election Media Center located on Haridwar Road.
He said that we have moved rapidly towards fulfilling the promises and resolutions made by the government. Many historical decisions were taken during this period. There were challenges like Joshimath disaster, Silkyara tunnel accident, but under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we were successful in overcoming them. He said that special focus has been laid on empowerment of mother power. Women’s rights have been protected in the Uniform Civil Code, while a provision for 30 percent horizontal reservation has been made for women in state services. Along with this, many other schemes including Lakhpati Didi have been implemented to empower women self-help groups. The products of women’s groups are also being linked to House of Himalayas, the umbrella brand of local products of the state.
strict anti-copying laws
The Chief Minister said that a strict anti-cheating law has been brought to curb the crime that has been taking place in recruitment examinations for years. The copying mafia has been sent behind bars. The law has been made more strict to prevent forced conversion in Devbhoomi. He said that there is no place for violence and disturbance in the peaceful environment of Devbhoomi. In view of this, a law has been brought to recover compensation from those who cause damage to government property by rioting and creating disturbance. He also detailed other achievements of the government.
