The newly formed Modi government at the Center has released an amount of Rs 1562.44 crore to the Uttarakhand government as a share in central taxes. With this step of the Center, the state government has got funds for development works. The central government has also released an additional installment along with the amount of June month to be received by Uttarakhand as the state’s share in central taxes. This two-month installment has given relief to Uttarakhand along with all the states of the country. The new budget of the new central government is yet to come.

Earlier, the interim budget for the financial year 2024-25 was presented by the central government. Now the new government has been formed. The central government has taken this step before the new budget comes.
CM Dhami expressed gratitude to PM Modi
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for releasing an amount of Rs 1562.44 crore to Uttarakhand in the tax transfer process. The Chief Minister said that through this amount, along with the successful implementation of the development schemes of the state, help will be received in the operation of new schemes.
