Security of border villages is necessary. That is why the Central Government has also identified Vibrant Villages in Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Uttarkashi. Development plans have been prepared by different departments to stop migration from these villages and to ensure that the youth can get employment in the villages themselves.
Keeping security in mind, there are preparations to open 15 police checkposts in these villages. This will benefit the native people and will also stop human and wildlife trafficking.
