Please tell that there is only one Sainik School in the state which is in Ghorakhal. Which is completely operated by the Ministry of Defense. However, the construction work of Sainik School was started at Jakholi in Rudraprayag district. This school was approved, but due to lack of coordination between Sainik Welfare and Education Department, the matter of construction of this school has been pending for a long time. The work was entrusted to Uttar Pradesh Nirman Nigam after sanctioning Rs 10 crore from Upanal and others. On behalf of the UP Nirman Nigam, this amount was spent in building the boundary wall and road. Since then, the matter of construction of the school building is pending.
