The Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU) is going to organize the Women’s Uttarakhand Premier League in the third week of September. After the success of the first edition of Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) organized this year, Women Uttarakhand Premier League is being organized by CAU to provide opportunities to women players.
CAU has shared its information on its official social media page. The Women’s Uttarakhand Premier League is proposed to be organized from September 24 to 28 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun.
Five teams from across the state will participate in the women’s league to be organized in day-night format. More than 70 talented players of the state will participate in these. Two matches will be held in a day in the Women’s League.
CAU Secretary Mahim Verma said that preparations are underway for the Women’s Uttarakhand Premier League. The names of the teams have been finalised. More information will be shared soon.
