Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Delhi on Friday on a three-day stay. He is likely to meet Union Energy Minister RK Singh and other ministers and top BJP leaders. He also has a program of meeting with entrepreneurs in connection with the Global Investors Summit to be held in the state.
The members of the committee constituted to prepare the draft of the Uniform Civil Code can also meet the Chief Minister, as the process of drafting is now in the final stage. Chief Minister Dhami left for Delhi on Friday afternoon and directly reached Uttarakhand Sadan.
This is the second visit to Delhi this month.
This is the second visit of the Chief Minister to Delhi this month. In the beginning of August, he had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. It is understood that along with filling the four vacant ministerial posts in the cabinet, he can hold discussions with the central leaders of the party regarding the distribution of responsibilities equivalent to ministerial posts in various corporations, authorities and commissions.
During the meeting with the Union ministers, he can request for help to the state along with giving information about the situation of the disaster arising in the state due to rains and the damage done so far. Not only this, there is a global investor conference in the state in December, for which the government has started preparations.
The conference is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Amidst this scenario, during his stay in Delhi, the Chief Minister can hold talks with entrepreneurs with a view to invest in the state.
