Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, State General Secretary Organization Ajey Kumar, Former State President Madan Kaushik, Former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Vijay Bahuguna, Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat, to participate in BJP’s National Working Committee. Former Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta, Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj have reached Delhi.
Before the commencement of the meeting of the National Working Committee on Monday evening, along with the central leaders, the Chief Ministers and other representatives of various states took information about the situation in Joshimath from the state leaders. Although Joshimath was not a topic of discussion on the first day, most of the leaders discussed it informally with other leaders including the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
Discussion can be held on filling ministerial posts and distribution of responsibilities:
BJP’s National Working Committee meeting will continue on Tuesday as well. It is believed that after the meeting is over, Chief Minister Dhami, State President Bhatt and State General Secretary Organization Ajey Kumar can meet separately with the central leaders of the party in the evening. During this period, apart from filling the three vacant ministerial posts in the state cabinet, it can be discussed and stamped in connection with giving the responsibility of the posts of chairman, vice-chairman equivalent to the post of minister in various corporations, authorities and commissions.
If this happens, then before the Republic Day, the hope of some MLAs getting ministerial posts and the responsibility of a large number of BJP leaders can be fulfilled. The state leadership of BJP has already prepared a list of more than 100 leaders for distribution of responsibilities. Not only this, emphasis is being laid on speedy distribution of responsibilities from within the party as well. The argument being made is that when the responsibilities have to be shared, it should not be delayed any longer. Anyway, there are Lok Sabha elections next year. Distribution of responsibilities will also strengthen the election preparations.
