Home Guard soldiers of Uttarakhand will be provided CSD canteen facility on the lines of Army. For this, special canteen cards of Home Guards are being made. Indoor firing range will be constructed on the available land in Premnagar for weapons training of soldiers and soon 300 more posts will be recruited. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made several announcements on the foundation day of Uttarakhand Home Guard and Civil Defense Department at the Home Guard Headquarters in Nanurkheda. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took the salute of the Ratik Parade as the chief guest.
From holidays to announcement of land
Chief Minister Dhami said that Home Guard soldiers will be given 12 casual leaves in a year. Apart from this, Rs 13 crore, Rs 12 lakh will be given for the construction work on the land allotted at a total of nine places in the state for the company office, transit camp and emergency search and rescue center of Home Guard volunteers.
Incentive amount also announced
While announcing, CM Dhami said that apart from this, 21 new motorcycles will be purchased for the departmental motorcycle squad. Also announced to provide incentive amount of Rs 200 per day to Home Guard soldiers doing duty in areas at an altitude of more than 9000 feet, like police personnel and NDRF.
CM provided appointment letters
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented appointment letters to the newly appointed women Home Guards on the foundation day at the Home Guard Headquarters in Nanurkheda. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi and Commandant General of Home Guard Kewal Khurana were also present.
