After the discussion on the panel of names of contenders sent for the five Lok Sabha seats of the state in the meeting of BJP’s Central Parliamentary Board in Delhi, the heartbeats of the contenders have increased. Along with the potential contenders, the eyes of party leaders and workers are fixed on Delhi. It is believed that the central leadership of BJP will announce the names of the candidates within a day or two. The state BJP had sent observers to all the Lok Sabha constituencies to prepare a panel of names of contenders for candidate selection for the five Lok Sabha seats in the state. After receiving their report, the observers’ report and the names included in it were discussed in the meeting of the election management committee of the state BJP. After this the panel was prepared and sent to the central leadership. In this, 55 names have been included for five Lok Sabha seats.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt reached Delhi on Wednesday. It is discussed that the Chief Minister and the State President discussed this issue with National President JP Nadda, National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh and other central leaders in Delhi. A meeting of the party’s Central Parliamentary Board was held on Thursday, in which the selection of candidates was discussed. It is believed that soon the party will announce some candidates in the first phase. Candidates from all five seats of Uttarakhand can also be included in these. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are now fixed on Delhi.
