Today is Vijayadashami. We all know that on this day Lord Shri Ram had killed Ravana and established the victory of good over evil. Ravana Dahan is performed every year on the day of Vijayadashami. Dussehra is being celebrated with great pomp today from the capital Delhi to Uttarakhand. Today, on this auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Reni) congratulated the people of Uttarakhand. CM and Governor have greeted the people of the state on Vijayadashami festival.
Governor gave message of brotherhood
Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Seni) in his message said that the festival of Vijayadashami symbolizes the victory of good over evil. This festival inspires people to abandon the evils within them and adopt the good ones. He called upon the people of the state to maintain harmony and brotherhood in the society by imbibing the ideals of Lord Shri Ram on this festival.
CM Dhami gave the message of being ego free
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in his message that this festival symbolizes the victory of religion over unrighteousness. He said that today the need is that we should be free from ego in our lives, walk on the path of truth and work together for the social harmony of the state and the country. He said that the life of Lord Shri Ram inspires us to follow the right path.
