Delhi resident husband and wife riding the scooty were seriously injured when a taxi scooter collided with a Uttarakhand Transport Corporation bus going from Masonic Lodge bus stand to Dehradun. The police sent both of them to the civil hospital, where the doctors declared the woman dead. According to the police, the accident occurred when a scooter collided with a Transport Corporation bus near Jaiswal Estate. The husband and wife, residents of Krishna Nagar, Delhi, had come to Mussoorie with their two children. Here he took two scooties on rent.
Husband Balkishan Sharma and his wife Vinu Sharma (44) were riding on one scooty, while their son Deepanshu and daughter Geetika were on the other scooty. Police have handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem. SSI Guman Singh Negi said that the bus driver and conductor have been arrested.
