Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has once again taken a tough stand against illegal construction. On the instructions of Authority Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari, 53 bighas of illegal plating was demolished with JCB at four sites on Monday. According to MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari, Rajiv government had done plotting on 20 bigha plot in Ramgarh area without getting the layout passed. Even after the challan action, when the plotting continued, its JCB route and demarcation etc. were demolished.
Similarly, Kapil Kumar had illegally planted 20 bighas on Bahadurpur Road in Selaqui and 10 bighas in Central Hope Town. On the other hand, illegal plating was also found on three bighas of land in Thapa Road Selaqui. Here also the MDDA team took demolition action. The demolition team included Assistant Engineer Abhishek Bhardwaj, Junior Engineer Jitendra Maurya, Yugant Rawat, Supervisor Amar Lal Bhatt etc.
