On raising the issue of conspiracy to topple the government during the assembly session, BJP MP from Haridwar and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has termed it very serious and has demanded an investigation from the Assembly Speaker. He also raised questions on the intelligence system of the government. Independent MLA Umesh Kumar from Khanpur in Haridwar district had raised this issue in the House. Since then, politics is hot on this. Earlier, former Haridwar MP and former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had questioned the MLA who gave a statement regarding the conspiracy to topple the government. He said that the MLA should prove the statement given in the assembly with facts.
Trivendra said – Uttarakhand is being ridiculed
After Nishank, Trivendra Singh Rawat also raised this issue in Mussoorie. On Thursday, he said that Uttarakhand has been ridiculed by giving a statement to topple the government in parliamentary democracy. He also targeted the silence of all the MLAs in the House on this statement. He questioned the credibility, experience and concern of Khanpur’s independent MLA Umesh Kumar, who was his opponent from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat, regarding his concern with Uttarakhand.
It seems Nishank has reached close to the fire: Harish Rawat
