On Monday afternoon, due to the sudden sound of explosions, the police department and other security agencies were alerted, while an atmosphere of panic was created among the common people. SSP Ajay Singh and other police officers and employees took to the streets. The SSP himself reached Selaqui. However, no information about blast or anything else could be found. At around 1.30 pm on Monday afternoon, the police control room received information from different numbers that the sound of explosion was heard in FRI and Premnagar police station area. Hearing the sound of the explosion, an atmosphere of panic was created in the city. Different police teams were immediately formed and sent to verify the information. However, ground blast or any such incident has not been confirmed.
Considering the seriousness of the information, SSP Dehradun himself has left for the area. After talking to the callers who gave information, they are giving information related to the blast in the air.
