
The management has become strict regarding roadways bus drivers missing from duty. The Transport Corporation management has put a stop to the leave by summoning the list of drivers who were absent on January 1 and 2. Also, service break has been imposed for the absent drivers and conductors during this period. Amidst the strike by private vehicle drivers, Roadways General Manager (Operations) Deepak Jain has issued orders for the drivers of the corporation. In which it has been said that ESMA will be implemented and strike will be stopped for six months from 22nd December.

Whereas, information is also being received about the participation of roadways bus drivers and conductors in the ongoing strike of private vehicle drivers across the country. This is causing inconvenience to the passengers and causing loss of revenue to the corporation. In such a situation, he directed the officers of all the depots to provide the list of drivers who were absent on January 1 and 2 to the headquarters. Also directed that action should be taken against the contracted bus owners who do not provide buses on the prescribed routes as per the rules and terms of the contract. If any outsider creates obstruction in the operation of the corporation’s buses, then cooperation should be taken from the police and operation should be continued.
