24 hours after the operation of BS-4 ordinary buses to Delhi was stopped, the operation of super deluxe Volvo buses of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation also came to a halt on Tuesday. The Transport Corporation has a total of 52 Volvos, out of which only 12 BS-6 buses are such that can go to Delhi. In such a situation, 40 buses have again stopped. However, till 11 am on Tuesday, the corporation operated BS-4 Volvo buses from Doon to Delhi, but after sending seven buses, the corporation stopped the operation of the remaining buses on the warning of the Delhi government. After the ban on Volvo buses, the corporation has also banned online ticket booking of these buses.
The biggest blow came from super deluxe Volvo buses
After the ban on the operation of BS-4 category diesel buses in Delhi, the biggest economic blow to Uttarakhand Transport Corporation is coming from super deluxe Volvo buses. Before the ban, 27 buses were operating from Dehradun to Delhi and two buses to Gurugram, which have now reduced to only seven. The gap of hours in the timetable of Volvo buses going towards Dehradun is still less, but in the buses coming from Delhi, this gap has become seven hours. Earlier, Volvo buses were running every hour, but after 12 noon from Delhi, there is a Volvo bus directly at 7 pm. Due to which high class and upper middle class passengers are facing problems.
Seven Volvos for Delhi-Gurugram
Currently seven Volvo buses are being operated from Doon to Delhi and Gurugram. These buses are BS-6 and are allowed for Delhi. The first Volvo leaves for Delhi at six in the morning, then the second bus leaves for Gurugram via Delhi at 10 am, the third bus leaves for Delhi at one in the afternoon, the fourth bus leaves for Delhi at four in the evening, the fifth bus leaves for Delhi at seven in the evening, the sixth bus leaves for Delhi-Gurugram at ten-thirty in the night, while the last bus is being sent to Delhi ISBT at 12 in the night. Before the ban, 29 Volvo buses were being operated for Delhi-Gurugram from 4 am to 12 pm. Whereas, the first Volvo bus from Delhi to Dehradun is at 8 am, the second at 10:30 am, the third at 12 noon and after this the fourth bus is directly at 7 pm. Then at 10 pm, 10:30 pm and the last bus is at 1 am. In these too, the Volvo buses at 10:30 am and 10:30 pm operate from Gurugram and come via Delhi ISBT.
Now only 33 buses from Doon to Delhi
Now only 33 buses of Transport Corporation are left from Dehradun to Delhi, whereas before the ban 150 buses were being operated regularly. Currently, the corporation has 23 contracted CNG ordinary, three BS-6 and seven BS-6 Volvos, which are being sent from Doon to Delhi. BS-4 ordinary bus services going to Delhi from Kalsi, Paonta Sahib, Bhauwala, Balawala etc. are being operated till Mohannagar. 17 other ordinary buses are also being operated from Dehradun to Mohannagar.

Ordinary buses going from Doon to Gurugram and Faridabad are being sent via Peripheral Highway since Monday, but on Tuesday the bus going to Jaipur was operated via Aligarh to Mathura. The bus to Jaipur was operating at 7 pm, but the time of this bus for Mathura has been changed to 4:30 pm. At the same time, the Jaipur and Khatushyamji bus service has been stopped for the time being.
