
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is living up to its objective. The objective of the Yatra is to provide benefits of Central Government schemes to every eligible person. He called for communicating with 12 beneficiaries of Almora district and also for spreading this information to other people. While interacting with the beneficiaries of Almora through virtual medium from the Secretariat on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, schemes have been made keeping in mind the people of every section of the society.
Its benefits are being extended to the last person of the society. He said that the department is giving wide publicity to the schemes of the Central and State Government to reach the common people. During this, the Chief Minister while talking to Kamla Devi, a beneficiary of the National Urban Livelihood Mission, wished her all the best for making a significant contribution to self-reliant India. Kamla Devi is also connecting other women with employment through the sewing-weaving centre, thereby providing them new sources of livelihood.
Almora resident Paan Singh Parihar said that he had taken a loan of Rs 3 lakh for poultry farming under Kisan Credit Card. Now he is earning an annual income of Rs 8 to 10 lakh from this. Preeti Bhandari told that she started mushroom production in 2014. He took loan from Deen Dayal Kisan Kalyan Yojana. Now 26 women are associated with his organization. Seema Kumar told that she is associated with the National Rural Livelihood Mission. She is making jute bags along with other women.
Amar Singh Mehta told that he took benefit of Kisan Credit Card and Ayushman Yojana. Many people of the village are taking advantage of these schemes. Everyone expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for these schemes. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal, Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Secretary Ranveer Singh Chauhan, Anand Swaroop, District Magistrate Almora Vineet Tomar and Chief Development Officer Akanksha Conde and other officials were present through virtual medium.
