Different arrangements of departmental service rules ended
Not only this, after the implementation of this rule of personnel, now the different arrangements of departmental service rules regarding relaxation in promotion have ended. The provisions of this rule will be applicable for all departments. Earlier, the Uttarakhand Government Servant Relaxation Rules in qualifying service for promotion (as amended from time to time), issued in the year 2010, will now be deemed to be cancelled. Promotion of senior personnel will not be hindered. It has been clarified in the notification that personnel who have already availed the benefit of relaxation in the prescribed service period in promotion will not be eligible for it again. If there is a provision in the service rules of the departments in this regard, then it will not be considered applicable.
The committee will recommend relaxation in promotion
The government order said that for relaxation in promotion, consultation will have to be taken from the Administrative Department, Personnel and Vigilance Department.
For relaxation in promotion to the holders of Group-C service cadre, a committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the concerned department head. In this, the Finance Controller and another officer nominated by the department head will be members. Relaxation can be done on the recommendation of the committee.
