On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off vehicles carrying relief materials from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office to the affected areas of Joshimath. This relief material has been given under the CSR program of HDFC Bank.
This relief material will be made available to the affected people in Joshimath by Manav Seva Samaj Sanstha. In Joshimath, 1500 hot water bags, 01 thousand blankets, 8 solar powered geysers, 01 thousand emergency solar charge lights, 20 thousand sanitary pads, 260 stoves and 460 room heaters were provided by HDFC Bank to the affected.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed gratitude to HDFC Bank and Manav Seva Samaj Sanstha for this cooperation given to the affected people of Joshimath. The Chief Minister said that the government is working for the rehabilitation of the affected people of Joshimath and for making all the arrangements in an orderly manner. Organizations are also coming forward to cooperate with the government. The Prime Minister has reviewed the Joshimath affected area, the state has been assured of all possible cooperation from the Central Government. In this budget, a provision of one thousand crore rupees has been made for the affected area of Joshimath.
On this occasion, HDFC Bank Circle Head Bakul Sikka, Gaurav Jain, Vivek Grover, Ashish Giri, Jitendra Mudaliar, Shyam Sundar and Uma from Manav Seva Samaj Sanstha were present.
